Child Rally to Advocate Child Rights

Child clubs of Bardiya organized child rallies in seven model schools for mobilization of children, to secure school property, establish intimate relationship between teacher & parents, advocate for the child rights, help to create child friendly environment and conduct different child programs.

3 schools’ child clubs organized rally program involving 937 students, parents and teachers in their own schools catchments area. Children were carrying play cards writing “Protect child right, send children to school regularly, do not discriminate between son and daughter, and create reading environment for children at home”. It has supported on awareness rising in the community and to aware parents about the education right of their children. Similarly child club members also felt that they could play active role for improvement of education and social awareness rising themselves.
