BASE ORGANIZATION DOING COMMUNITY AWARENESS ACTIVITIES IN BARDIYA DISTRICT

For creating awareness and empower for safety precautions against Covid-19 pandemic in the communities BASE organization has been broadcasting PSA through local FM radio stations in Bardiya district. For making a wider coverage the preventive messages are being disseminated through two FM stations (Radio Tiger FM 88.2 and Radio Gurbaba, 106.4 FM) in two different Nepali and Tharu languages.

In addition to this, the messages are being spread at the community levels by making announcement playing sound system through the mobilization of auto rickshaws. They reach to every tole and villages playing the message whole day. These activities are being done in coordination with the local government and technical/financial support by Water Aid Nepal.
