BASE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES COVID-19 SUPPORT

Nepal is getting grappled again with the deadly third wave of COVID-19 which has put an enormous strain in the communities. The country is facing challenges to deal with this crisis again which may worsen the life of marginalized people living in the villages. Numbers of people in the villages are struggling with the common symptoms of the Covid infection but they lack safety kits, life-saving medicines and medical care access. Therefore BASE has again initiated a Medical Health Camp in the rural villages of Dang district in coordination with the local government.

With the generous support of our partners, local governments, stakeholders and members we have conducted medical camp with a team of doctor and health workers in the villages.

Between the dates of August 17th – 18th, 2021, the team has examined health of 75 (40 female and 35 male) people along with medical counseling as well as essential basic medication.  

All of 75 people found struggling with the common symptoms to Covid-19 so we have been assisting the government through Antigen Test procedures. The medical camp team has guided the patients about safety precautions too.  

From the first two days, 2 persons have been reported positive to COVID-19 and this data has been updated to the local government.  

घुम्ती स्वास्थ्य शिविर संचालन

बेस संस्था (ब्याकवार्ड सोसाइटी एजुकेशन) ले हाल नेपाल लगायत विश्वमा पुनः फैलिरहेको कोभिड १९ को तेश्रो लहरको प्रकोपलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै दाङ जिल्लाका समुदाय स्तरमा स्वास्थ्य सेवा तथा परामर्श उपलब्ध गर्नका निम्ति घुम्ती स्वास्थ्य शिविर तथा राहत सामाग्री वितरण गरेको छ । स्थानीय निकाय तथा स्वास्थ्य महाशाखा, तुलसीपुरको औपचारीक सहमति अनुसार स्थानीय सरकारलाई सहयोग पुग्ने हेतुले मिति २०७८ भाद्र १ गते देखि संचालन भएको घुम्ती स्वास्थ्य शिविर एक महिनासम्म संचालन हुनेछ ।

त्जभ ब्मखयअबअथ एचयवभअत, ग्क्ब् को आर्थिक सहयोगमा बेसले विगतको अनुभवलाई संगाल्दै थप प्रभावकारी रुपमा यो स्वास्थ्य शिविर हाल तुलसीपुर उपमहानगरपालिका, बबई गाउँपालिका तथा शान्तिनगर गाउँपालिकामा लक्षित गरिरहेको छ । डाक्टर तथा स्टाफ नर्स परिचालित गरिएको चिकित्सकीय टोलीले स्थानीय गाउँघरमा पुगेर मनोविमर्श, आधाभूत स्वास्थ्य जाँच, आधारभूत औषधि, मास्क वितरण लगायत एनटीजेन टेष्ट गरिरहेको छ ।

पहिलो दुई दिनमा जम्मा ७५ जनाको उपचार गरिएकोमा लगभग सबैमा ज्वरो, रुघा खोकीका लक्षणहरु पाइएको छ । हाल बबई गाउँपालिकामा केन्द्रीत रहेको चिकित्सकको टोलीले एन्टीजेन परिक्षण गर्दा २ जनामा कोभिड पोजिटीभ रिपोर्ट प्राप्त गरेको छ जसको विवरण कोभिड फोकल पर्सन विमल के.सी. ज्यू लाई उपलब्ध गरिसकिएको छ । यसैगरी प्रत्येक दिनको विवरण सम्बन्धित निकायमा जानकारी गरिनेछ ।
