Governance & Good Practices

BASE has its own governance system and management structure to regulate the organization. There is Senior Management Team (SMT) in central office headed by the Executive Director. Similarly in district chapters there is Senior Management Team (SMT) for day to day management. The decisions are made in participatory manner.GESI is considered in the composition of Senior Management Team (SMT)There is clear division of roles and responsibilities defined of Senior Management Team (SMT). Senior Management Team makes decisions and manuals and submits to Central Committee for approval and then circulates for implementation to the operational units and guides them accordingly. The central committee is governed by general assembly and submits the budgets and program for approval. There practice of regular audit systems. BASE conducts social audits and public hearing. BASE has also the practices to publish the total annual budget and expenses over the period in the BASE website.
